What is ChocoFest?

ChocoFest 2025 is Alberta's premier chocolate tasting festival, a two-day celebration of all things chocolate! The event brings together local and international vendors offering artisanal chocolates, desserts, and confections for you to taste and enjoy. In addition to sampling, ChocoFest features family-friendly activities, live entertainment, a chocolate chip cookie bake-off, and more. - VIP early entrance at 5 pm

- Regular entrance 6 pm to 9 pm

How do Taste Tickets work?

Our ChocoVendors will have samples of their chocolate treats available for you to try. Vendors set their own price per sample, anywhere from 1 ticket to 5 tickets.You buy tickets online and a QR code is emailed to you.

You show the QR code to the vendor (either on your phone or printed out) and they scan it with our ChocoFest app on their mobile device and check off how many tickets you're using with them.

Festival Pricing

1 Ticket: $1.50

Online Pricing

10 Pack: $13.00 ($1.30 each)

25 Pack: $28.75 ($1.15 each)

50 Pack: $50.00 ($1.00 each)

You can purchase Taste Tickets online right up to the close of the festival and receive the online discount.

If you purchase Taste Tickets at ChocoFest they are $1.50 each with no discount.

Can Taste Tickets be shared?

Yes! You can screen shot your QR Code or print it out at home and each member of your party can use the same QR code.Our software keeps track of how many tickets you redeem.

What if I misplace my ticket email?

Not a problem, contact us at [email protected] with the email you purchased your tickets with and we can resend you the email with the QR code.

What if I run out of Taste Tickets at ChocoFest?

You can purchase Taste Tickets online right up to the close of the festival and receive the online discount.

If you purchase Taste Tickets at ChocoFest they are $1.50 each with no discount.

Do Taste Tickets include admission to ChocoFest?

No. Admission tickets can be purchased separately online with a discount or at the door for full price.

Can admission tickets be purchased at the door?

Yes, however, if the chocolate festival sells out, only pre-sale ticket holders will be able to attend.

Do you accept credit/debit cards at ChocoFest?

Yes. However, we recommend you purchase your admission tickets and taste tickets online for immediate access, discounts and to avoid standing in line. Tickets can be purchased online during the event.

Can we use cash at ChocoFest?

Yes, entry tickets and taste tickets can be purchased at the festival with cash if they are still available. Individual vendor policies may vary.

Is there a Senior's discount?

Yes. Seniors age 65+ get in for half price ($7.50) on Friday night April 25, 6pm to 9pm.

Tickets at the Door:

1 Day General Admission (ages 13+) $15.00

2 Day Pass $27.00 (save 10%)

1 Day Child Admission (ages 5-12) $10.00

2 Day Pass $18.00 (save 10%)

Children 4 and under are free.

Seniors half price admission (65+) Friday only 6pm to 9pm. $7.50

Do children need a ticket to attend ChocoFest?

Children ages 0-4 have free admission.

Children ages 5-12 are $10 at the door or $8.50 if purchased online before Dec 31, 2024 or $9.00 if purchased online in 2025.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Is ChocoFest family friendly?

Yes, ChocoFest is a family-friendly event! We welcome chocolate lovers of all ages to enjoy delicious treats, fun activities, and entertainment designed for the whole family. Visit the ChocoKids Zone for kid-friendly events suitable for ages 5 and up.

Is parking available at ChocoFest?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking at Millennium Place.

Is ChocoFest indoors or outdoors?

Indoors! When you enter through the main doors of Millennium Place, head towards the right and follow the signs.

Will there be seating areas available?

Yes! There will be tables and chairs at the Hot ChocoBar as well as seating at the main stage.

Is ChocoFest wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Millennium Place is fully accessible for all abilities.

Are pets allowed at ChocoFest?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at ChocoFest, with the exception of service animals.

Can I purchase chocolate to take home?

Absolutely! Our vendors will have delicious chocolates and other sweets available for purchase, so you can take home your favourite treats to enjoy after the festival.

Can I take my samples home?

Yes, you're welcome to take your samples home! However, please note that the samples are not packaged and are meant to be enjoyed during ChocoFest. We encourage you to savour the experience while you're here!

Will there be food other than chocolate?

Our vendors will be offering a wide range of chocolates, desserts, and sweets. However, if you're craving something savoury, there is a food court at Millennium Place where you can purchase non-chocolate food options.

Are there accommodations nearby for out-of-town visitors?

Yes! There are several hotels and restaurants within walking distance of Millennium Place, making it convenient for out-of-town guests to enjoy ChocoFest and explore the local area.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, strollers are welcome at ChocoFest. Families with young children can easily navigate the festival with strollers.

Is there first aid available?

Yes, Millennium Place has fully trained lifeguards and first aid attendants on-site at all times to ensure everyone's safety during ChocoFest.

Is Millennium Place a secure venue?

Yes, Millennium Place has on-site security and is located in a safe and well-regarded neighbourhood. It is a very busy recreational centre and we recommend that you keep your young children in sight at all times.

Will there be a coat check?

Yes, there will be a coat check for a small fee to the right of the entrance to ChocoFest.

Are there public washrooms close by?

Yes, the washrooms are to the left of the entrance to Chocofest on the left hand side when you are facing the entrance.

Can we leave and come back on the same day?

Yes, make sure you get your hand stamped on your way out.

Can I volunteer at ChocoFest

We love volunteers! We call them Chocolateers. We are accepting applications from ages 16 and up. Please join our volunteer waitlist to apply. https://chocofest.ca/volunteers

What kind of vendors will be at Chocofest?

ChocoFest will feature a wide variety of vendors, including local home-based chocolatiers, international craft chocolate makers, dessert artisans, and confectioners. You’ll find everything from handmade truffles and gourmet chocolate bars to decadent baked goods and unique chocolate creations, as well as cookies, cake pops and cupcakes. Can I be a vendor at ChocoFest?

Yes! ChocoFest welcomes a diverse range of vendors, from local home-based chocolatiers to established craft chocolate makers and dessert artisans. If you're passionate about chocolate or desserts, we'd love to hear from you. How many vendors will be at ChocoFest?

ChocoFest will feature 80 vendors, with 22 spaces reserved for home-based businesses. This ensures that attendees can enjoy a wide variety of chocolate treats, including unique offerings from small, local producers they might not otherwise discover.
