Join us for a delightful and sweet experience volunteering at ChocoFest!
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers over the age of 16 to help us ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all attendees.
The festival will feature a chocolate chip cookie bake-off, various children’s activities, and vendors showcasing their chocolate-themed products.

ChocoFest 2025 is Alberta’s premier chocolate tasting festival, a two-day celebration of all things chocolate! The event brings together local and international vendors offering artisanal chocolates, desserts, and confections for you to taste and enjoy. In addition to sampling, ChocoFest features family-friendly activities, live entertainment, a chocolate chip cookie bake-off, and more. ChocoFest will be held at Millennium Place, 2000 Premier Way, Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada https://chocofest.ca/chocofest-location
Yes, there is plenty of free parking at Millennium Place.
Indoors! When you enter through the main doors of Millennium Place, head towards the right and follow the signs.
We have a variety of roles, including:
- Event Setup & Breakdown – Assisting with decorations and booth setup
- Ticket Takers & Door Prize Attendants – Scanning QR codes and distributing door prize forms
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Bake-Off Assistants – Receiving entries and assisting judges
- Kidzone Volunteers – Running activities and games for children
- Hot ChocoBar Helpers – Keeping tables clean and welcoming
- Vendor Lounge Attendants – Providing coffee, water, and snacks for vendors
- Crowd Control & Information Desk – Helping guests navigate the festival
- And many more!
Volunteers must be 16 years or older to participate. We welcome enthusiastic individuals who are eager to help make ChocoFest a success!

You can indicate whether you’d like to work one or two shifts. However, due to high demand, you may only receive one shift or none at all, depending on availability.
Shifts are 4 to 6 hours long, depending on the position.
You will be notified by April 1 about your assigned shifts and position(s). If you are unable to fulfill your assigned shift, please inform us as soon as possible so we can find a replacement.
Yes! Volunteers are expected to read their job description before the event and attend an orientation at the start of their shift to receive important instructions.
Please wear pants and closed-toe shoes, as some roles require standing or moving around. Volunteers should dress appropriately for a public event. We ask that you not wear torn or holey pants.
You will receive your volunteer Tshirt at the beginning of your shift.
Yes, and one free general admission ticket to share.
Please meet in the festival office directly across from the entrance of ChocFest at Millennium Place.
Volunteers receive 10 free taste tickets to use at ChocoFest. There is also coffee and water in the festival office.
You can request to be placed with a friend when you apply, but we cannot guarantee placement together.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled shift, please let us know ASAP so we can find a replacement.
