Here’s what’s new and improved for ChocoFest 2026.
Simple, Fair, and Consistent Sampling
One of the biggest improvements for 2026 is standardized sample sizes and pricing. Every sample at the festival is just 1 Taste Ticket. There’s no guesswork, no surprises, and no need to compare ticket values between booths. This makes it easier to plan your tasting, try more chocolates, and fully enjoy the experience without stopping to do math.
Improved Festival Flow and More Space to Explore
We’ve expanded the festival layout and refined our timed entry system to create better flow throughout the venue. With more space between booths and staggered entry times, you’ll spend less time in lineups and more time discovering incredible chocolate. The result is a more relaxed, comfortable environment where you can truly savour each stop.
Upgraded Digital Taste Ticket System
Our digital Taste Ticket system has been upgraded for 2026 to be faster, smoother, and even more user-friendly. The touchless system allows for quick scanning at vendor booths, making sample redemption easy for both guests and vendors.
We know one of the challenges with digital tickets can be keeping track of how many you’ve used and how many you have left. To make this easier, our volunteers will be available throughout the festival to scan your Taste Ticket QR code and let you know your exact balance at any time.
More Canadian Chocolate Than Ever
ChocoFest 2026 proudly shines a spotlight on Canadian chocolate makers. This year, you’ll discover even more vendors from across the country, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and the Northwest Territories. From bean-to-bar artisans to innovative chocolatiers, it’s a true celebration of Canadian creativity and craft.
Free Admission for Children on Saturday
We’re continuing to make ChocoFest a family-friendly experience. Children 12 and under receive free admission on Saturday, making it easy for families to enjoy a day of chocolate tasting, activities, and entertainment together. Kids can look forward to fun experiences like face painting, the cookie monster toss, and creative colouring activities.
Adults-Only Friday Night Experience
Friday night at ChocoFest is designed especially for grown-up indulgence. This adults-only evening creates a more refined and relaxed chocolate experience, perfect for those who want to savour at their own pace.
Enjoy softer lighting and smooth jazz music as you explore a wide variety of artisanal chocolates and desserts. Take part in fun chocolate trivia contests, learn from guest speakers, and track your tasting journey with complimentary tasting notes. Door prizes throughout the evening add an extra touch of excitement. With no children in attendance, Friday night is the perfect setting to relax, savour, and discover new chocolate delights.
Early Access for Seniors
We’re introducing Early Access for Seniors to offer a quieter, more relaxed festival experience. Available on both Friday and Saturday, this early entry option allows seniors to explore the festival floor at a comfortable pace before peak crowds arrive. It also means first pick of samples and chocolate purchases.
